Doesn’t breathe — shoe with or without socks is very warm after wearing a while. Mesh outside doesn’t mean breath-ability inside. Cushioned, but not supportive interior. Quite unlike the SAS shoes I normally wear. They’re OK, but I wouldn’t buy them again for summer use. Winter use with socks would be OK, with a swap-out of insoles.

Within two weeks of wear, the shoes developed a tear in its plastic that essentially became a sharp knife that cut my heel.

As a diabetic, I experience pain in my feet (especially upon waking). I was seeking something to conform to my feet. I purchased this shoe to be used as slippers around the house. From the first time I slipped them on, they provided both immediate and substantial relief from that pain. Keeping them next to my bed, they give me not only relief, they increase my confidence and stride when walking on hardwood floors as well as locally around my house. They are in fact so effective, I’ve purchased a second pair for when these finally wear out. I truly do not write reviews, but these shoes demand respect as a stellar aid in my attempt to improve my circumstances. I’m sure some will say come on, it’s a shoe. For my case they are simply amazing and I tell this story whenever I can. Just be sure you select the proper size. My second pair were extra wide and not as effective. The original pair cup my heels firmly and provide the support my feet need to immediately stop my pain. I’ve now returned the second pair and will reorder. Realizing this is a long winded review, I’ll close by saying this is the shoe for me.

I’ve been wearing these shoes when I go out walking in the morning. Unlike several pairs of Skecher’s shoes I’ve purchased over the past few years, these seem to be holding up very well given that I typically walk 6-7 miles per day.
