I bought this shoe strictly for hiking. It did need some break in before hiking, but is now an excellent hiking shoe.

After about five times wearing the shoes the rubber in front of the toe on both shoes has started to peel off. Not what I had expected from sketchers.

These seem to be a great shoe in every respect, except the darn sizing! These leave about a full thumbs width between the end of the shoe and your big toe. As a result of being too big, the laces don’t sit properly and the material folds up on top of your foot, making the fit uncomfortable on top. The cushioning is very nice and made light jogging possible again for aching knees.
