I wanted to love this shoe, but the inside of shoe surrounding the ankle is VERY uncomfortable (Front and back) including the tongue of the shoe. It all rubs against your ankles. No breathing room. I wish we had a try before you buy. They are very uncomfortable. I couldn’t wait to take them off. I should have stayed with my Brooks. $100 down the drain. 🙁

I was looking for a comfortable, waterproof walking/hiking shoe that could double as an attractive travel shoe. This Sketcher checks all the boxes. I usually buy a 7.5 if I’m wearing without socks. I purchased this sneaker in an 8 so I can wear med weight socks.
Patches –
The size is large enough to accommodate an orthotic..they are bunion friendly..width is generous for a M. They are very high and provide a good deal of distance between you and the ground. They have an odd “ rocking” motion that propels you forward. Takes a bit getting used to. I bought these for the price…they were very reduced..and because I have a knee injury and needed more cushion to my joints. Being 69 and have arthritis in feet knees and hips..just gave these a try. I doubt once my injury heals I would be able to walk as fast as I normally do..or as far. But for now..they are helping.

These shoes were awful. My feet hurt so badly early day after wearing them. I tried them for two weeks and I cannot wear them anymore. I feel like I wasted my money. I had a pair of the Skechers Go run that were great; I assumed these would feel the same. I was wrong.

These are perfect for my upcoming Europe trip where we might encounter some rain. They are very comfortable and have a thicker forefoot which I need when I walk a lot. The only issue I have is the arch support isn’t very good. I bought some green superfeet and now they are so much better!
