Not enough Velcrow was put on the straps when I wear them very tight I had to add some Velcrow so they would attach they went really cheap on the small amount of Velcrow that’s on the shoe itself I put more Velcrow on the straps that overlap so they would fit tight

My wife ordered these for me hoping to finally find a shoe that fit well on my swollen feet and also looked great for dressier occasions.
The fit as far as width was great. The foot bed offered great support. She ordered ‘extra wide’ shoes. The Velcro straps were not long enough, but this was easily remedied with an additional Velcro extension.

I wear these day to day, and sometimes at work. My only gripe is the amount of velcro on the pull straps. To get them tight enough, I end up with only 1/4″ ( or less) of overlapping hook and loop.
I actually cut and placed another 1/2″ of velcro on each strap (adhesive backed), and that allows the correct amount of tightness over my foot.

My disabled son uses these shoes but wears out the right toe due to dragging his foot caused by a brain tumor side-effect. It would be nice to buy just a right shoe. Hint!

As a USPS worker with large and wide feet it’s a nightmare looking for work shoes. It can be kind of hard to tell from the site pictures but they are a smooth leather and pretty breathable. The Max Cushioning and just overalls plush inside feels great. As a recent convert to Skechers for the comfort and durability I can say I’ll continue to purchase these shoes for work as long as they’re available. If I had any issues it would just be a tiny thing that the straps only have Velcro on the last inch or so of the strap so if you pull them too tight there might not be a secure connection. I’ve seen other reviewers say sticking a command strip of Velcro to the underside to supplement the little piece seems to solve the issue.

I have to give this shoe a low rating because of one major, dealbreaking flaw which is mentioned by other reviewers here: the velcro does not extend sufficiently to close the straps securely. I tried on the shoes, and my first impression was “not bad”; then I closed the straps and realized I couldn’t strap them on securely. VERY bad design, and the material is some sort of cheap synthetic (for the price you should expect leather).
