I previously ran in the Maxroad 4+ and loved them. I was super excited to get this shoe, but I immediately noticed arch pain after a few min of walking around the house in them. I took them for a short test drive on my treadmill to see if they’d feel better, but I couldn’t wait to take them off. I think the h-plate made this shoe too firm for my liking, and I also felt like it was hard to control my foot strike. The 4+ was a shoe I could put on and not think about during my run. Some people may benefit for the h-plate, but please offer a version without it. And please give the women edgier colors like the men’s shoes. I’ve ran in a few Skechers performance sneakers and loved them. I’m sad these didn’t work out for me.

unfortunately these caused ball of foot pain – doc said it was because they were too flexible.

I’m a performance oriented triathlon but, I’ll be honest, I’m getting on in years. Years and year of running have taken a toll on my feet but this is one pair I can wear and run almost entirely pain free. Unlike some other highly cushioned shoes, these don’t make me feel disconnected from the road. They feel responsive and natural yet still give me the support and cushioning I need. And no breaking in period is needed either. They were perfect from the very first run.

These are the most comfortable shoes. They have a rigid bottom which is perfect for my bad big toe. I bought them online, never tried them on in a store and was super lucky that they work so perfectly for me.

Bought these for running and I’m so glad, they are expensive but worth it, I have a lot of fluid on my feet which gives me a lot of pain but these shoes are fab to run in and I wouldn’t hesitate to get another pair !

These shoes are lightweight, comfortable and make walking easier with the way the soles are made. Goodyear rubber should make them last.
