It’s been a long time since I loved a pair of shoes! Extremely comfortable the moment I put them on.

Unhappy with comfort. These are not comfortable shoes despite the “memory foam” hype. The main issue is that the footbed is not gently cupped/raised at the edges like proper shoes should be. These are the opposite…they fall off at the edges of the footbed where the memory foam ends. Heel and forefoot slide around, making the shoe uncomfortable.

I gave these a shot based on positive reviews and I do not get it. My left leg is actually cramping as I type this from the pressure of the memory foam on my toes, pushing them upward. Reminds me of those hideous Earth shoes of the 70’s or whenever it was, that were higher in the front than in the back. If they had put the big foam cushion under the ball of the foot maybe but these things are miserable and I can t wait to get home and take them off. They are good looking shoe, a great concept, I love the width for my hard to fit fat feet – but I totally do not get how anyone could think these were comfortable. They are going back, the sooner the better.

I bought these shoes in July and up until now they have been working great. I love the memory foam insole. However I am disappointed in the durability of the sneaker. The inside plastic form of both shoes at the ankle has broken away from it’s glue or housing because it is now cutting into my heal, giving me a wound that is pretty painful. I checked and the fabric is worn out as well. I have stopped wearing the shoe and once the wound heals I will probably go back to New Balance or Assics. I need to have a shoe not cut me.
Part of the front toe area of the shoe is loose as well.
I walk a lot, so maybe if you use the shoe casually it will last longer than 2 and a half months.

The shoes feel great at first, but I work a desk job and am not on my feet all day, and still after only a few months, the memory foam soles completely wore through at the pressure points on my feet. Totally unacceptable and unsatisfactory. And I usually love Skechers!

Great shoes. Solid sole support. Comfortable inner. Perfect ankle cut. I wear these ten hours a day, on my feet eighty five percent of the time with no problems. Tried, and returned, a couple different pair of Skechers “work shoes” that caused pain in my ankle after just a couple hours due to high ankle cut. No such problem with the Afterburn model. Great looking and feeling shoes

These sneakers fit great. Originally purchased the wrong size. Returned to Zappos with no problem. Reordered the correct size and I am thrilled with these sneakers. They fit perfectly, the width is perfect, and will purchase another pair. Zappos is the only place I purchase my shoes. Best place by far!

These are great shoes and I’m on my 4th pair. The only bad thing is the memory foam insoles don’t last very long and I have to buy another pair. I tried replacing the insoles but that is only a temporary fix.

Good looking shoes but the right shoe had a huge lump in the middle of the upper part of the shoe just before your toes start. Sent back for a refund.

Worst shoe, by expectations, I have ever owned. First, it is billed as a walking shoe/sneaker, but it wears more like a boot, and is clunky. Second, the ridges on the sole are felt into my foot, to the point that they make the bottom of my foot sore, even after changing out the insoles to gel. They have become my shovel the snow shoes and my go to work and not walk around much shoes, but I don’t use them as a walking shoe. They make me feel like I am walking around in lead shoes. I would be hobbled the next day.
Not up to Skecher standards by how it is presented, although I cannot fault the build quality (as a boot) except for the pain causing sole and its clunky feel. Would not buy again and will be more careful when I buy another so called walking shoe.

The insoles are glued in. I wear orthotics. With the orthotic and the insole in the shoe there is no room for my foot. What a stupid, stupid idea; gluing in the insoles…

Good fit. Soles started coming loose the week after I got them. After a couple of months the front of the soles came completely unglued and flap around unsafely like a clown shoe. Very disappointed. No problems with the New Balance I bought at the same time. No more Skechers for me!

I’ve been buying the shoes for at least seven years without fail….I will not but any other shoe….this is the most comfortable shoe for walking long distances even after the memory foam wears thin…these shoes last 3-4 months of daily grind…I saw another review complaining that the shoes only lasted a year or something..made me laugh due to their unrealistic expectations…my new balance shoes used to last only around 45 days before a hole above the toes would form…that kept happening whenever I would buy new balance shoes..so I stopped buying new balance shoes and just permanently switched to buying these shoes..and never looked back..there are the best quality shoes period for all day comfort and long walks…they are heavy when new…they look awesome when new…high quality product…buy these shoes and be happy..
