Did not realize when we ordered them that these don’t have real laces but some sort of dumb rubber bungee things that there is no obvious way to adjust. I’ve tried to find out do to do, and mostly have found either ‘you can’t’ or you have to hack together something unattractive or uncomfortable. Why would you make an athletic shoe that can be securely fitted to your foot??

Very comfortable shoe from the get go. It does feel a bit looser (on the top of the foot) than I would’ve preferred, maybe a size down would’ve been better, but they’re great otherwise. I would definitely (and probably will) buy another pair or 2!

I’m over 65 and walk 5K 4-5 days a week. These shoes are great! Easy to get on but my feet don’t slip around in them as they do in many slip-on athletic shoes. Good arch support.

These sneakers have elastic laces – I prefer to be able to tighten my shoes for a snugger fit.

still have no clue how the heck you are supposed to wear this shoe. Maybe I’m weird but when I get a shoe that shows it has laces I expect TO BE ABLE TO ADJUST LACES!!
these have stretchy laces with the ends sewn to the shoe. no way to tighten them and they were WAY too long to not slop around on my foot.
one of the truly stupidest design ideas I’ve seen in a while.
I will say they were squooshy soft but that does no good if you can’t keep it on your foot
Also ran very large. I typically get Brooks in 7D and the 6.5 wide in this was too big

These fit me perfectly. I have narrow feet and could not wear Sketchers for years as they did not offer narrow widths. Now they do and I love these shoes. Extremely comfortable!

I didn’t realize this shoe was the ‘fake laces’ style until I got them. But, I decided to give it a try so I would not be judging a book by it’s cover. It still has the sketcher softness and the width is good as well. But the tongue sometimes rubs up against the ankle, so I have to adjust it by angling it to the left. This doesn’t happen w/ the shoes with real laces.

The fit is fine. They are a little wide (I wear a 10 S) but seem to be okay. There isn’t enough arch support for me to added one. Hoping they will be alright as need an all-around comfy, but light-weight, shoe for walking. Normally wear Aetrex and New Balance.

Got these to replace older lace-up GoWalks and found them just as comfy/cushy with the added ease of slip-on styling. I like the fact that the soles add a lot of bounce and leave all the mulch outside!

This is the second pair of this style that I’ve purchased. I’ve been trying to walk more and these shoes encourage me to do it. They’re lighter than a lot of sneakers but give good support. I’m also pleased that they’re available in a narrow fit as it’s hard to find shoes to fit my narrow feet. My only complaint with Skechers is that they don’t offer many styles in narrow.
