Undersides of straps on shoes only had a one inch square of Velcro at the end of the strap therefore shoes could not be tightened by pulling straps tight. As a result the fit was to large. If there had been additional Velcro on the straps I would have gladly kept these shoes

Bought these for my 92 year old dad. I needed easy on, easy off, Velcro straps, comfort, it good gripping bottoms. He is in assisted living on a kind of lockdown, so had to rely on the help there to have him try them on.. my dad has never owned a pair of tennis shoes since he was younger..
Apparently they are a hit! And he likes what he calls the suction cup bottoms…

There needs to be a longer strip of Velcro on the straps.

The Velcro tabs both the fuzzy tab and the sticky tabs are way to short. When the shoes start to stretch as sneakers do there will be no place to adjust the tabs to make the fit a little tighter. As it is there can only be one setting which you have to live with. A real bone head idea for an adjustable shoe. Look elsewhere, these are very poorly designed.

These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They also look good and fit perfectly.
The only problem is that the Velcro on the flap is too short. I had to have a shoe maker extend it.

I purchased this pair of Skechers Go Walk 5- Wistful shoes for my father who is 94 and quite often has swelling in his ankles and feet. I purchased his regular size in a wide width. He was very pleased with the fit and said they are as comfortable as his well worn shoes. He said they have a good cushion. Dad needed a shoe with velcro closures and one that would look nice with dress pants or casual clothes. This one is perfect. I am so happy to have found this shoe for him.

I bought these shoes for my elderly dad who has Alzheimer’s and has difficulty walking as well as tying his shoes. He loves them! They are very lightweight and so much easier for him to secure once on, than fumbling with laces.

Listen – the shoes are not the most stylish but they’re perfect for our needs. My dear father is in his 90’s and has dexterity issues these days. The fact that these are wide width AND velcro is so perfect that we purchased the shoes in all 3 colors. The best feature of the shoe is that they’re lightweight, the soles aren’t bulky like so many other shoes that are similar. These allow for him to walk much smoother and since there isn’t a “chunkier” sole, he is able to keep his balance.
