I have access to an amazing variety of hiking situations and missed about six months last year after developing a severe hot spot and when I was able to get back to hiking I had trouble with petty problems and shows I could not trust and i went through all kinds of brands, a foot doctor and a lot of money, realizing that the two old pairs of skechers were pretty good especially a pair of hiking shoes that were pretty awesome.
So I bought a new pair of skechers whe the hiking shoes wore out and the comfort was way beyond other brands only a pair of Clarks wingtips which actually made me want to walk exceeded them,. but they discontinued that shoe and others I tried did not match.
Then I found the goodyear skecher sneaker and it was awesome, a pair of dress shoes also awesome and these were better for hiking, walking and comfortable trouble free wear than much more expensive brands.
Since not one skecher has disappointed and I am rediscovering how the different shoes I have compare and the price is very affordable I am up to five pairs and probably not through!
A shin splint in the winter after hiking less than should have given that problem in a pair of hiking boots costing three times what my skecher hiking boots and two hikes that were at a length that usually made me very sore after and in the skechers the hike was easy I think I am a real skecher guy now.
Boots make a huge difference and 100%, especially after all the problems I was having, is a pretty good batting average. They are magic!

Ice owned 2 pairs of these the 1st pair was great and lasted a long time, the second pair not so much, the stitching came apart within 2 months, very disappointed

Hiker’s dream, whodathunkit?
The design and shock absorbtion allows the foot swelling after a long hike with no issues at all, unlike other brands I experimented with – though I have found better looking boots. Since my main thing is the freedom to hike without issues, this is it for me; long search for a perfect boot over!!!!!!!

Very comfortable. The overall quality is decent for the price point. I have taken them out on a few short hikes, and they did not require any break in. However, I can tell that they are not durable enough to last for years. I am satisfied with them.

Main reason I’m happy is that these are double wide (WW). Next to impossible to walk in to a store and find the right size/width combo, so ordering these was a last-ditch effort. Luckily they turned out to be perfect for me 🙂

I use these for work. They are comfortable, add stability and warm. I walk roofs and these soles give me a little more confidence than regular shoes. It takes a little bit to break them in but once they are, they are all good.

I would have given them 5 stars if they were waterproof. I sprayed then with boot waterproofing and will hope for the best. Looked at similar ones that say waterproof but didn’t come in extra wide.

Nice shoe. What happened to the extra pair of laces that USED to come with all your shoes? Can’t even buy laces in your stores but a kid can get a bag of candy! Asked a sales rep for laces and she looked at me and didn’t have a clue what I meant. Ridiculous!
