unfortunately the “ankle bite” was a bit much for me.

The flex groove design is wonderful, definitely not just a gimmick. I bought these shoes for work. I am in the construction field, on my feet all day with a lot of bending, climbing, walking, etc.. The flex groove design really allows the shoes to bend more easily, making them very comfortable. I have spent thousands of dollars on all of the big name work shoes and boots over the years, these are more comfortable so far than any of them. The insoles cushioning could be a little softer or more plush, but the shoes are still very comfortable. To the people at Sketchers, please continue to make shoes with the flex groove design and you will have a customer for life!!

The shoe feels as advertised. I wore the shoes one day and the front toe cover from the sole pulled away. I am on my hands and knees at work and it came off the first wear. I didn’t expect it to last.
