I bought these for a trip to Iceland that I took in the winter. I wanted a shoe that was rugged, warm, waterproof, good on the ice and snow, which was also affordable. The shoe did very well in all aspects except that it was slippery on the ice. I thought with the nubby tread it would handle the ice well, but it didn’t. Luckily I bought some Yaktrax, which are a type of slip on over the shoe with metal on the bottom so I didn’t slip and break my leg. My friend wasn’t so lucky and broke her ankle (she wasn’t wearing these shoes). I also liked that this shoe wasn’t heavy unlike a lot of rugged sport/hiking shoes. I often wear men’s shoes for my high arch and wide toe bed.

These are great. Use them for everyday wear and to the gym.

Size does not match description. The description says the size is 8.5 = 25.7 cm, but on the label 8.5 = 26.5 cm. In the description: water resistent, but on the sneakers it says water reppelent. I am disappointed.

The shoe has really helped my knees when I am working all day on my feet. Good traction in an environment that could be slippery. I have used them for a mountain hike and on trails that are rough surfaces. I also used them as my shoe of choice in Colorado during the ski season. They are water resistant and give good traction on slippery surfaces.

I like this style as it fits my foot perfectly. The shoe has good wear-life. I walk 5 kms a day and my feet are never tired. If the weather is really bad I wear my old pair even though the soles are worn, they are still comfortable.

These shoes are great for outdoor activities. I have already decided that when these get old and worn out, I will replace them with the exact same shoe. The area around my house is rugged and challenging and these make my feet feel armored and ready for whatever I need to do. I’m a fan!

For years I’ve only worn reebok classics as I never thought you could beat them for comfort until…….. I ordered a pair of these skechers for work. Im supposed to wear steel toe caps but can’t stand them so I wanted something that didnt stand out and boring looking to get away without saftey shoes. These worked but I soon found out they were the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn.
