I broke my ankle in May in several places. I have to be extra careful on what type of shoe I put on. These Sketchers boots are comfortable, perfect insole, relaxed fit, and high quality.

These are the most perfect boots I have ever found for keeping my ankle stable and my feet painfree when I walk on moderate trails or uneven ground. My feet are narrow and my arch is high. I took pics of my foot, because it was hard for me to compare the reviews of others when I could not compare the structure of their foot. Most functional boots lack the arch support I need, while also being narrow with lots of cushion. After years of failed attempts of trying ‘arch supports’ in all of my hiking boots, I realize that it had to be fully integrated into the boot itself. These boots have all of that. But, be warned…this is a narrow boot. I had to wear it in the house for a while before I was convinced that I didn’t need to go up a 1/2 size. I always buy Sketchers size 9. These boots are a 9; but any tighter and I would have needed the extra room in the toe box.

I wear these on daily walks with my dog. They keep my feet warm and support my arches well. They have plenty of cushion to help prevent knee pain. I look forward to many walks with them!

These are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned. I’ve tried using arch support insoles in regular boots, but it only helped a little. These boots are definitely more narrow than most boots, but for me that’s a good thing because I have narrow feet and want to be able to wear regular socks in them. The back is narrow too, which prevents my heel from rubbing up and down when I walk. I have flat feet and the arch support is excellent. They’re lightweight and fit like sneakers. The cushioned heel is also a big plus for me. Note: the fur around the top is not throughout the inside of the boots. I usually wear a size 11 and bought these in size 11. They fit fine.

This is my second review of the same pair of boots. I still love them… But the top grommet broke. Zappos has made it easy to exchange them because of the defect. Hopefully the second pair lasts longer because they’re by far my favorite boot to do mild hikes. No other hiking boot has fit my narrow feet and high arches so well.

Ok for hiking but soles don’t offer a lot of tread. I crossed a couple of wet streams, not a lot of water at all, and they got wet even though they are water resistant. I will use them more for casual winter wear
